美國高中的作業(yè)清單全列表

國內(nèi)高中生的家庭作業(yè)與美國高中生相比，很難簡單用“多與少”衡量。
我國高中生作業(yè)，習題和題目要求都在教科書，習題書里，都有標準答案，學生只要按要求去完成，最后得出與標準答案一致的結(jié)果就可以了。
而美國高中生作業(yè)形式靈活，作業(yè)內(nèi)容多，強度也不低，美國小孩每天完成作業(yè)也要幾個小時，甚至幾天才能完成。最突出的特點是閱讀量大，很多作業(yè)沒有標準答案，尤其是文科類作業(yè)，老師只出題目，剩下的事都要靠學生自己去發(fā)揮，比如寫報告，做項目，演講等。有時候一些作業(yè)學生很難一個人在家里獨立完成，一般由幾個同學一起共同研究，攜手合作。

1英語(課程)作業(yè)
---老師除了要留一些生詞記憶作業(yè)外，大多是要求讀教材，讀小說，甚至看電影。要求學生歸納總結(jié)出讀書摘要，報告和書評。有的英語作業(yè)還讓學生作詩，編童話，看名著改編的電影等。
2西班牙語作業(yè)
---西班牙語作業(yè)也常常別出心裁，超出我國外語(課程)作業(yè)的定式。講課的老師是西班牙裔，老師們會出一些有關(guān)拉美西班牙語國家的經(jīng)濟，地理，歷史和習俗等常識性問答題。
與國內(nèi)高中外語教學強調(diào)背單詞，記語法，讀課本等方式相比，美國的外語教學更重視通過一門外語的學習，來了解那個國家的文化，使學生們通過對那個國家文化的熱愛和好奇，產(chǎn)生對一門外語的興趣。比如一些美國小孩就是出于對中國功夫片和對日本動畫片的喜歡，才決定學中文和日文的。
3歷史作業(yè)
---通常老師會讓學生讀反映相關(guān)題材的小說，看歷史紀錄片。比如，老師講完“珍珠港事件”這段歷史后，老師先布置讀相關(guān)小說“廣島”，再安排學生看紀實片“珍珠港”，從多角度加深學生們對這段歷史的認識和理解。
而國內(nèi)的歷史課，只需要一盞燈，一本書，背到深夜12點，考試就會過關(guān)。而在美國學校歷史課就復雜多了，除了讀書外，學生還要去圖書館查資料，網(wǎng)上下載相關(guān)圖片，看紀錄片談感受，沒有捷徑可走，歷史年代和史實固然要記住，但不動腦子不動手是很難完成作業(yè)的。
4數(shù)學作業(yè)
---按照我國的教學常規(guī)，學生必須做大量的習題才能完成數(shù)學作業(yè)，且做的題越多，熟練程度越高，成績也會更高。但是美國的數(shù)學作業(yè)并不多。美國數(shù)學老師會滿有哲理地說：“對一個數(shù)學概念理解掌握就可以了，習題做多了，不一定是好事，可能會禁錮你的思路使其格式化，要留給自己一些自由發(fā)揮想象的空間。
所以美國的數(shù)學作業(yè)有時是寫論文，有時候是讓學生編寫數(shù)學題，或是讓學生提出一些數(shù)學問題。
5消費課
---消費課是一門讓學生初步掌握市場購物，信用卡使用，理財和投資等一般商業(yè)消費常識的選修課。老師講完如何進行股票交易后，會讓學生對目前的股市行情加以分析，并假設(shè)如果你是一個股民，為了賺錢，你會買哪種股票?為了完成這些作業(yè)，學生們得不惜花費精力和時間一邊關(guān)注每日的股市行情報道，一邊上網(wǎng)查詢股市分析圖。
6藝術(shù)課
---老師會讓學生們用達芬奇的現(xiàn)實主義畫法來畫同桌的頭像或是用印象主義畫派畫你最喜歡的美國風景。有孩子畫尼亞加拉大瀑布，有的畫舊金山的金門大橋，有的畫科羅拉多大峽谷，有的畫黃石公園的老忠實泉，有的畫佛羅里達海濱的日出，有的畫蒙塔納州的大草原。最后老師會把孩子們的作品張貼在教室的墻壁上，頓時教室成了美國風景畫的展覽廳。
而老師通常會按規(guī)定要求學生在某日的幾點幾分前，通過電子郵件把作業(yè)發(fā)給他們，否則按照沒有完成作業(yè)處理。這種“網(wǎng)上作業(yè)”有3個好處：一是省去了收發(fā)作業(yè)的麻煩;二是老師和學生都可以看到每個人交作業(yè)的先后順序;三是有利于老師和學生在網(wǎng)上互動。
只要有學生在網(wǎng)上提出問題，老師會及時答疑，同時，老師會將一個學生提出的問題和解答迅速傳給其他同學參考。這種快捷的作業(yè)方式，為學生與老師之間建立起了一種新型的網(wǎng)絡(luò)式師生關(guān)系。

1Book Talk書談In your book talk you should have at least 3 index cards including a character analysis, plot description, and a recommendation. You should then share your book with the class.
A. Index card 1-Character analysis角色分析. On this index card, you should include the main characters’ name, a de-scription of the character, and how they changed throughout the book. You could also include your thoughts about the characters.
B. Index Card 2-Plot description情節(jié)描寫. On this index card, you should tell about the main events of the story. Don’t give the story away, but get your audience interested in the book.
C. Index Card 3-A recommendation推薦理由. On this index card, you should tell whether you recommend the book or not. You should include your thoughts on the book, and why or why not you recommend the book.
2Diorama of the setting背景透視In your diorama you should include six specific details (六個細節(jié))from the setting of the story. You should also include six quotes (六條引言)that support why you put something in the diorama. Be creative (多點創(chuàng)意)and think about how you could bring the setting to life.
3Dialectical Journal思辨日志You should divide your paper into halves(分為兩欄). On the left side, you can pull a quote that identifies figurative language修辭語言實例, a connection you have made, or something you feel is important in the story. On the right side, explain the significance of this quote解釋其重要性. You should have 10 journal entries.
4Student created questions and answers that are text dependent自問自答You should have six questions. You can use something similar to the examples that follow(有例可仿), or you can make up questions(允許自創(chuàng)), but they should require support from the text(有原文支持).
A. How does the main character change from the beginning of the text to the end? Provide details from the text that supports this conclusion.
B. Select two words or phrases in the article that support the idea that __________________.
C. Explain how the main character feels about _____________.

5Short Story續(xù)寫故事Write a short story about what the character(s) would be doing one year later(一年以后的主角), based on evidence of how they have behaved so far(以書中實例為依據(jù)). This should be two pages typed, double spaced, 12 font, Times New Roman.
